Jerod Santo (May 09 2025 at 13:14):All good on the new topic! One cool thing about Zulip is you can move messages/threads to different topics after the fact, so it's low risk to just create a new one and let somebody else who's been hanging around longer re-categorize things when appropriate.

Tim Uckun (May 09 2025 at 21:36):I am still hanging on to my m1 air but I think I am going to upgrade to the m4 this year. I like the smaller sizes. I miss my tiny 11 inch macbook air and wish they brought it back. Having said that my eyes have gotten worse since I had it so maybe I wouldn't enjoy it as much. I used to love that thing though. The best machine I remember.
James Thurley (May 10 2025 at 07:04):I use an M3 Air as my main machine, plugged into a 43” monitor. Love it. Sometimes I do wonder how much quicker a Pro would be at compiling Rust code, but there is something so mentally satisfying about the Air that I wouldn’t want to switch :smile:
Tim Uckun (May 11 2025 at 00:27):I use a mac mini as my desktop and have my mac mini as my "upstairs computer". It gets used more than the mini in my office.
