Topic: 654: Biocomputing on human neurons

view this post on Zulip Logbot (Aug 14 2025 at 21:07):

Dr. Ewelina Kurtys is leading the way in biocomputing at FinalSpark where she is working on the next evolutionary leap for AI and neuron-powered computing. It's a brave new world, just 10 years in the making. We discuss lab-grown human brain organoids connected to electrodes, the possibility to solve AI's massive energy consumption challenge, post-silicon approach to computing, biological vs quantum physics and more. :link: https://changelog.fm/654

One day in the future you'll go a place where they will scrape some body part of yours, grow a clump of neurons and implant that back into your body somehow and that will be your personal computing device and AI companion.

I’ve heard of people taking skin cells, turning them into stem cells and then putting them on ice just in case we fogure out how to produce organs in the future.

It’s already been successfully done on a smaller scale.

Insane the stuff that we’re able to do with modern medical tech

I forgot...

Did you guys ever ask her about those foods that cause or prevent inflamation?
