Great convo, loved the convo on phone numbers as a foreshadowing of what is to come for devs in the future . I was literally talking to a friend about the exact same thing a few days ago.
I think it’s important that everyone adopt a GenAI workflow, but also remain intentional about what is being built.
The dev should be the driver of the process, but should never lose the context of what all the inner workings are. Otherwise, you lose “the screwdriver that helps you manually shift the gears…”
