It took me a while to get to this point, but I really appreciate that Changelog pods are clean and especially that you two don’t even need to be bleeped out. That’s how a host of topical podcast should talk, not like a dockworker or a college freshman :sunglasses: :thumbs_up:

I don't mind either way - just in terms of furthest reach and accessibility to younger audiences who may be interested, people with different backgrounds and preferences, the measured good vibes are clearly working. ;) I also appreciate the editorial decision to leave some in sometimes with a warning, like Corey Doctorow episodes talking about Enshittification and just his use of profanity as a fairly important part of it

@Fershad Irani it has crossed our minds, but we've never done anything about it. One challenge with that is Mat's songs for us are so contextual to the conversation that when you extract them as standalones, they don't hit quite as hard....

But still, I do like the idea

Had a Mandella Effect this week. My brother and I were texting about the guy who shoots lightning in Mortal Combat.

I kept spelling it "Raiden" (which is what Wikipedia told me to do). He kept writing "Rayden". I had to be like "no, Rayden's a spanish rapper" (again, according to Wikipedia). It's entirely possible he was just wrong, but if you thought it had a Y, let me know.
