It's our first Kaizen after the big Pipely launch in Denver and we have some serious mopping to do. Along the way, we brainstorm the next get-together, check out our new cache hit/miss ratio, give Pipely a deep speed test, discuss open video standards, and more! :link: https://changelog.am/114

I really appreciate seeing the video posted at the same time as the audio. These Kaizen episodes tend to be ones I really enjoy watching. Thank you!
That was my fist close encounter with a rattle snake too!…and I was the closest to the snake walking along the edge of the road where the snake was relaxing in the sun. I would have walked right into it had I not notice the warning sounds.

them suckers blend in :face_in_clouds:
@Gerhard, something to consider. You mentioned using ClickHouse for storing logs. I work at Redpanda Data so I'd love to work with you or get someone to work with you on a data streaming setup. We have a serverless option that would totally fit your needs.
There are a couple of extensions which make PG an excellent time series database or an analytics database. For example you can embed duckdb into postgres or query postgres from duckdb.
There was a good discussion of these in a recent postgres.fm podcast. You can follow some links here https://postgres.fm/episodes/when-not-to-use-postgres

-notes internally, given Redpanda use- :P
